1. About Clariyo

Clariyo is a personal development tool. It is designed to support reflection, goal-setting, and self-improvement through AI-assisted conversation. Clariyo is not a licensed medical provider, mental health service, therapist, counselor, or crisis intervention service.

Nothing in Clariyo constitutes medical advice, psychological treatment, or a therapeutic relationship.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Clariyo. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Clariyo only for lawful personal development purposes. You agree not to:

• Use Clariyo as a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or emergency services
• Submit sensitive personal data including protected health information, financial account data, or government identification numbers
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform
• Attempt to manipulate, bypass, or interfere with how Clariyo's AI is designed to respond, including through prompt injection or similar techniques
• Use Clariyo to harass, harm, or exploit others

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Clariyo uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for your individual situation.
• Clariyo does not verify or warrant the accuracy of AI-generated suggestions.
• You are solely responsible for how you use, apply, or act on any content generated by Clariyo.
• Your data is not used to train AI models — see our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Conversation Data & Feedback

Using Clariyo's free tier does not require an account, and conversations are stored locally on your device. If you subscribe to Clariyo Unlimited, you'll create an account using a one-time email sign-in link — see Section 6 for details on subscriptions, billing, and cancellation.

Signing in does not store or sync your conversations. Your account records only your email address and subscription status; your conversation history stays in the browser on the device where you had it.

Our AI platform (Gumloop) automatically logs workflow inputs and outputs at the infrastructure level for system reliability and error monitoring. Gumloop is SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant and is contractually committed to not using this data to train AI models. For any third-party AI models involved in processing, Gumloop maintains Zero Data Retention (ZDR) agreements under which your data is not retained beyond delivering a response.

Clariyo only reviews conversation content when a technical error occurs or when you explicitly submit feedback using the thumbs up/down tool or written feedback form. We do not proactively monitor or review your conversations.

If you submit feedback using the thumbs up/down tool or written feedback form, you consent to the AI's reply you're rating being stored on our servers, along with your rating, any comment provided, and a randomly generated device ID rather than your identity. This cannot be traced back to you personally. It is reviewed by the Clariyo team to improve the product and is not used to train AI models.

6. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Clariyo offers a free tier and a paid subscription, Clariyo Unlimited, at $13.99 per month, tax included.

Creating an account. Subscribing requires creating a Clariyo account using a one-time sign-in link sent to your email. No password is required or stored. Each sign-in link works once and expires after a short time. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for activity under your account, so please don't share your sign-in links. To change the email address on your account, contact us from your current sign-in address.

Billing. Your payment method is charged $13.99 immediately upon subscribing, and again on the same date each month unless you cancel.

Payment processing. Subscriptions are processed by Paddle, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, tax collection and remittance, and payment disputes on our behalf. Charges appear on your statement as "PADDLE.NET* CLARIYO."

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from within Clariyo. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will keep access to Clariyo Unlimited until that date, and you will not be charged again.

Refunds. Cancellations and refunds are handled by our trusted partner, Paddle. To request one, go to paddle.net and use their support assistant — enter the email address you subscribed with (or your order details) and submit your request there. Price changes. We may change subscription pricing in the future. Any change will apply only to future billing periods and will be communicated to active subscribers in advance.

7. Mental Health & Crisis Notice

Clariyo is a personal development tool — not a crisis service or mental health treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in crisis, please seek immediate help:

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within Clariyo is owned by or licensed to Clariyo. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Clariyo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clariyo and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New York. Clariyo is operated by Clariyo LLC, a New York Limited Liability Company.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Clariyo after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
